Welcome to this display of creative and travel photography from 30 years ago to the present, plus trekking and hillwalking photos of the wild landscape of Iceland, the Pindos Mountains of north-western Greece, the High Atlas mountains in Morocco, and the peaks and fells of the English Lake District.

I use that awkward word 'creative' here – for want of anything better – to mean photos for their own sakes, pictures which might have some meaning (for me, anyway) or might end up on a photo exhibition wall, or on show at a camera club.

The walking and hiking pictures are records of particular treks and walks, or, in the case of the Lake District, images of favourite walking areas gathered over many years.

Photography started as an interest, then became a serious hobby, and finally became a part of my professional life in one way or another. Many pictures on the site are available hi-resolution for editorial or commercial use, and some are now available as prints.
